Account Executive – Advertising Opening

Drive & Company is seeking an Account Executive – Advertising to maximize revenue via advertising assets across its portfolio, namely industry-leading publications D1.ticker, D2.ticker, D3.ticker, NAIA.ticker, Coaches.wire, AthleticDirectorU & Collegiate Sports Connect. Responsibilities 

+ Lead company’s advertising sales efforts

+ Exceed revenue goals by creating brand exposure, first-party data, original content and special projects solutions for current and prospective partners

+ Constant new business prospecting, new market segment identification and subsequent new sales outreach

+ Attend industry events to deepen relationships and identify solutions for current and future partners

+ Contribute in tandem with other members of the external team (Founder/CEO, COO, Executive in Residence & Senior Director of Revenue) to continuously create new advertising opportunities and special projects

+ Work closely with Head of Product Performance & a new Director of Marketing to maximize PipeDrive (CRM) capabilities for sales outreach efficiencies & effectiveness

+ Along with a new Director of Marketing & other team members, operate with an internal agency approach to assisting partners achieve success goals through Drive & Company advertising solutions

Qualifications // Abilities 

+ Experience selling comprehensive marketing partnerships or other relevant B2B sales experience

+ Ability to analyze a client’s traditional and non-traditional marketing needs based on the customer’s marketing targets and objectives, and craft an integrated marketing solution(s) to meet those needs

+ Strong knowledge of digital marketing, including but not limited to content marketing, banner ads and retargeting, including interpreting performance analytics for all areas + Proven track record of winning new business, as well as developing and maintaining strong, lasting relationships with relevant stakeholders

+ A competitive nature and an unwillingness to settle or give up

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Strong presentation skills and research abilities

+ Impeccable reliability, attendance and punctuality

+ Active listening and high-level problem-resolution skills

+ Acute attention to detail, time management/prioritization and organizational skills 

Education // Marketplace Experience 

+ Experience working in/around NCAA Division I, II, III and/or NAIA athletics and a deep understanding of the ever-evolving storylines, business dynamics, challenges, regulations, opportunities, etc. of the overall college athletics landscape

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution preferred
